Emily Harrington and Alex Honnold teamed up to complete a free ascent of ‘Solar Flare’ (5.12d) and take on the Incredible Hulk, one of the biggest granite walls in the High Sierras. Making their approach at dawn by the light of headlamps, the pair followed the route set in 2009 by renown climbers Peter Croft and Conrad Anker and they raced to send before the strong winds of a late morning storm rolled through.
