Seb Bouin klettert Bibliographie (9b+) in Céüse

Bibliographie sorgte 2020 als zweite 9c der Welt für Aufmerksamkeit: Alex Megos etablierte die Route in Céüse und schlug dafür ursprünglich den Grad 9c vor – vor allem, weil ihn die Tour deutlich mehr Zeit gekostet hatte als zuvor Perfecto Mundo (9b+). Nach Wiederholungen und Input von Stefano Ghisolfi und Sean Bailey einigte man sich auf den Grad 9b+, was Seb jetzt ebenfalls bestätigte.

Bibliographie was a big goal for this year. Since Alex did the first ascent of this one, I was really psyched to try something really hard from someone else, here in France. Even if Céüse is very far away from my own natural climbing style, I was really motivated to go through the process on Bibliographie. (…) You know, a 9b+ in my ‘local’ area, already with 3 ascents by top climbers… it was obvious that I had to try it.
