Yuji Hirayama climbing in Fukushima
29. Dezember 2019
Many memories for the professional climber Yuji Hirayama who returns to the cliffs of Dainichi Iwa in Fukushima for 2 days of climbing, 34 years after his first climbs. He came to climb here when he was a 16-year-old boy with his teacher. He had never returned to lead climbing since.
The routes are Iron claw 5.13a (7c +), 150 yen 5.13a (7c +), Pretty tricky 5.13a ((7c +), and some crack climb routes.
The first day was dark with rain, some roads were sheltered, then the second day there were some thinnings. Local climbers joined the groups.
