Forgotten Gems in the Ogwen

wo overlooked problems in the Ogwen Valley, North Wales.
In Your Honour was put up by Nige Callendar in 2005. Fiesty crimping and tenuous feet on great quality rock make this one of the best of the grade in North Wales. I think originally it was given 7B but it felt harder, I thought it closer to 7C to be honest. The sit start was added by Adam Hocking a few years later and is 7C+, keen to return in colder times for it.
Trench Fever was established by Pete Robins in 2012. He originally gave it 7C+ but thought it stout for the grade. It felt as hard as other 8A’s in Ogwen and North Wales so I have suggested an upgrade. Whatever the grade it’s a fun problem and thoroughly worth doing. The Trench gets pretty midgy so take patience and cover up, or wait for cooler temperatures!
