Rockclimbing in the Sultanate of Oman

In February 2020 a group of 13 alpinists and climbers from South Tyrol traveled to the Sultanate of Oman. The road trip led them into the desert, to the coasts of the Indian see and into the Hadschar-Mountains, a mountain chain that separates the fertile Batina plain near the sea from the arid desert.
Since it was so much more than just a climbing trip, they also got to know the friendliness of the Omanis, the muslim religion and the culture of the Sultanat.
