Key Account Sales person

to join our team to develop and grow our Austrian key accounts. Based in Austria, this role will be reporting to our German Sales Manager. The purpose of this role is to manage sales for dedicated outdoor key accounts by developing ongoing profitable relationships and establishing new account relationships for the outdoor, bike, lifestyle and travel channels.

Primary responsibilities of the role are:
  • Growing product sales and service levels within retailers
  • Managing sales and business relationships
  • Providing support and point of contact for retailers to help grow sales
  • Reporting market insights
  • Building business plans to start new channels
  • Actively developing, organising and running product demonstrations
  • Travelling to retailers to provide sales support and product training
  • Maintaining training portal with regional information
  • Supporting marketing planning and activations
  • Attending and providing support for tradeshows, events, sales and product meetings in Austria and abroad


To fulfil the role, the candidate should have:
  • A proven track record of growing sales, acquiring new business and achieving KPIs
  • Proven key account management skills
  • Knowledge of the outdoor/bike industries, products and markets
  • Have existing knowledge within the Austrian retail market
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Strong problem identification and resolution skills
  • Ability to build and maintain lasting customer relationships
  • Exceptional communication skills and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated and results driven
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team
  • High level of integrity and work ethic
  • Passion and interest in outdoor sports desirable
  • Knowledge of travel/lifestyle markets desirable
  • Valid and clean drivers’ licence
  • Valid passport
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively within and outside of Austria

Full product and systems training will be provided upon commencement.
